The sunset date for Universal Analytics 360 (premium) licenses has been pushed back from October 1st, 2023.
Last month, Google announced that the sunset date for Universal Analytics 360 (premium) licenses has been pushed back from October 1st, 2023 to July 1st, 2024. For standard Universal Analytics licenses, the cut-off date remains July 1st, 2023.
Enterprise analytics implementations can be complex and integrate into several other platforms, and Google has extended the deadline to ensure that enterprise clients are able to transition onto Google Analytics 4 (GA4) successfully.
It’s extremely unlikely that the deadline will change for standard licenses, given Google’s push to move customers to GA4 and the improved privacy and governance controls that the platform offers its customers.
